Q: I have seen a memorial I would like in another brochure - can this be replicated by you? A: Yes

Q: I have seen a memorial in the Churchyard which I would like to be placed in a Cemetery - is this possible? A: Yes of course - Cemeteries permit natural stone memorials.

Q: I want to mix and match from your designs shown - is this possible?
A: Yes, you can choose any stone type, shape, colour, design, emblem or lettering from any of our samples shown. Even the number of flower pots you require in the base. Please note that some designs on granite may be etched rather than fully carved.
Churchyard Regulations may prohibit some designs.

Q: I just want a simple plain memorial. A: All memorials are designed and made to the individual taste of the client.

Q: I would like a special emblem on the memorial? A: We have hundreds of designs on our computer ranging from animals, football badges, flowers, religious symbols, sporting emblems and military badges. Alternatively, if you have a favourite picture or badge you would like etched onto your Memorial, we can do this for you.

Q: Do you offer a guarantee? A: At C.J. Jordan & Son we use only the highest quality materials and have a professional team of experienced stonemasons and licensed BRAMM fitters. Our memorials are guaranteed under the Code of the National Association of Monumental Masons.

Q: You offer a free memorial layout drawing - what is this? A: Once you have chosen your headstone, inscription and emblem design we can then prepare your scaled A4 size layout of the proposed memorial.

Q: Do I have to worry about the many rules and regulations governing memorials? A: No - we will advise of any known particular Permit requirements. Your Memorial should be in harmony with the surroundings of the Cemetery and Churchyard and therefore Local Authorities, Cemeteries and Churchyards have imposed Memorial specifications to ensure this.

Q: Where will you supply memorials to? A: Acton and surrounding areas in West and South London.

Q: How soon can I have my memorial fitted after the funeral? A: Some Burial Authorities require 6 months to allow the ground to settle before a memorial can be fitted. This offers a safeguard against subsidence which is common in the more established graveyards. This does not normally apply for ashes interments.

Q: How long does it take? A: An average order takes between 8-12 weeks. However as many of our memorials are bespoke you will be advised of approximate timescales. If you need it sooner just let us know.

Q: How do I pay? A: We normally request a 50% ( or in special cases 75% ) deposit at time of order and the balance is due on completion.

Q: Can I insure the memorial against accidental or malicious damage? A: Yes. Although very few claims are made, peace of mind is important especially at such a low cost. Details will be forwarded to you with our final account.

Q. Do you do pet memorials? A: Yes - we will advise you as to the best material and lettering style for each particular requirement.

Q. Will you fix the memorial for me? A: Yes - we will be happy to arrange a mutually convenient time and place to fix your pet tribute.

Q. Do you do house names? A: Yes - we will design and produce any house name to your specification.
